The scientist had a rather crackpot theory relating dia oc hue to one-dimensional cellular automata and supposedly hidden messages in the Old Testament.

ABOUT US

Working Well is a community-wide initiative that is run by a Board of like-minded volunteers dedicated to creating a healthy workforce in Leon County. We began in January 2007 with a goal of getting over 50 percent of the workforce of Leon County working for companies that offer their employees results-oriented Wellness Programs.

There are 7 Benchmarks of a results-oriented Wellness Program that link health promotion objectives with the organization’s strategic plan. These “best practices” ensure the successful implementation and administration of health initiatives in the workplace.

We encourage all businesses to consider offering their employees a Wellness Program and to join Working Well (at no cost). We will train you to use the 7 Benchmarks to create a Wellness Program that results in a win/win situation for your company and employees. No company is too big or too small.

If you are interested in finding out more about Working Well, please contact Co-Chair Mary Barley at marybarley50@comcast.net. When you decide to join us, you will be asked to sign the Working Well Membership Commitment. A representative from your Wellness Team can then begin attending our monthly Mentoring Meetings to learn more about how to design and deliver results-oriented Wellness Programs to your employees.

The current economic crisis is creating more stress than ever for employees and research has shown that stress adds as much or more to healthcare costs than smoking, obesity, or physical inactivity. So now more than ever is the time to reach out to help your employees and show them that you care about your most important asset—your human capital—by offering a Wellness Program to your staff.
